
Hot Redundancy Solution
During normal operation, one master VSD and two slave VSDs are inlcuded in the design, with the master inverter solely for M/S control (It can be the smallest frame). Using fiber optic communication to facilitate synchronized control between the two slave units to jointly drive the motor, each inverter driving 50% of the power to maintain load balance.
In the event of a failure in one slave inverter, it will automatically disengage its output contactor to isolate itself, while the remaining slave VSD continues operation, providing its 100% power. This transition occurs seamlessly, avoiding significant current fluctuations or mechanical shocks.
